How To Choose a Homecare Agency in Cambridge
This month’s blog, how to choose a homecare agency in Cambridge offers plenty of practical advice and guidance to
...Giving you comfort and peace of mind overnight, at home
Our overnight care service is there to provide you with that extra level of reassurance, and allows you or your loved one to be looked after in your own home overnight by professional carers. Our carers will assist with physical, mental and emotional needs, so that you can sleep at night knowing you or your loved one is being well cared for. It also perhaps means avoiding being dependent on contacting loved ones at night.
Our dedicated night time care services offer a carer to assist you with everything from the administering of medication, trips to the toilet, drinks, and mobility within the home, as well as being on hand to provide reassurance and assistance in case of an unexpected emergency.
We can also help should you need help changing position in bed, raising you up to help with breathing, or generally helping to ensure a good night’s rest.
We offer two services of overnight care; sleeping night care and waking night care, depending on your needs.
Your carer will sleep at your home, but is on hand to help all night should their services be required. They will assist you with getting ready for bed as well as helping you to get up in the morning, but they will also be available throughout the night should an emergency arise, or if you require companionship for general comfort.
Your carer will stay awake so that they can offer proactive support throughout the night. This service provides assistance for complex needs and means that you will receive continuous care until morning. Our carers are on hand to support you with anything you require to be as comfortable as possible including the administering of medicine and mobility support.
Overnight care is available to anyone who would receive comfort and peace of mind that they have available support throughout the night.
Those with complex health conditions who require constant, ongoing support
Those who experience regular falls or have the potential for injury
Anybody who requires mobility support
Vulnerable people who may be living alone
Those suffering from Parkinson’s, dementia or Alzheimer’s who may feel confused during the night
Those with loved ones who want reassurance that their vulnerable relatives or friends are supported
There are so many benefits of receiving overnight care from the comfort of your own home. We believe that overnight care is perfect for providing necessary comfort and support whilst still maintaining a level of independence. We know that everybody’s home is uniquely personal and filled with memories, which is why we bring our care to you.
Our services allow you to stay at home where you can receive the comfort of familiarity and still feel a sense of independence.
Unlike in a care home environment, we can work to your needs when it comes to things such as meal times, entertainment, bed time etc.
You can rest assured that you are our number one priority and will receive immediate assistance should you require it, without having to wait for somebody to be available to help.
Your carer is on hand all night to provide you with the necessary support to ensure that you are comfortable, healthy, safe and at ease.
Your carer is there to be a friendly companion should you need reassurance, a hand to hold, or someone to speak to.
Your carer will help you to get around should you need assistance going to the bathroom or moving about your home.
Your carer is there to support you with anything you need so that you and your loved ones can sleep peacefully in the knowledge that you are well looked after.
All of our carers are fully vetted before employment to ensure you will receive the best care possible. We provide continuous training at our academy so that our carers are prepared to care for your individual needs, and we carefully match our carers to you so that you are confident and comfortable with your service.
We are more than just a support for your physical needs. We know that emotional support is just as valuable, which is why we always take the time to get to know you personally. We respect your feelings at all times and take time to get to know your interests and the way you like things to be done.
At Eaton, we know that your family and loved ones also need to feel confident, which is why we make sure they are kept informed and will happily discuss their needs to ensure peace of mind for everyone.
Eaton always carries out an assessment of needs before matching you with your carer.
Our carers are expertly trained and regulated to ensure the best possible care.
We value kindness and compassion and will make sure you are happy and comfortable.

Depending on the type of care you require, our carers will prepare you for sleep, support you during the night, and be with you in the morning to help you prepare for the day ahead. They will be on hand to assist you with all your needs during their stay, including unforeseen emergencies.
All Eaton Home Carers are required to have a minimum of 12 months care experience, undertake an enhanced DBS check annually and attend a minimum of bimonthly supervisions along with an annual appraisal.
