Our dementia homecare services provide a wide range of care options for people with dementia so that they can be as comfortable as possible within their own home environment. We understand how important it can be to anyone living with dementia to be surrounded by personal items, mementos and photographs as we navigate through the day-to-day together.
Based in Cambridge, we have been supporting our local community and the surrounding areas for 5 years. Our team has over 60 years of collective experience in the health and social care industry, and we provide NCFE Level 2 training in Dementia Care to all our carers, so you are sure to be in safe hands.
What is dementia care?
Dementia care really is tailored to the individual. There are over 100 different types of dementia, including vascular dementia, Alzheimer’s and Pick’s disease, so no two experiences are the same.
Our service provides a bespoke plan for your individual requirements that can include helping with daily chores in the home, cooking meals, administering medication, being a companion etc.
Our team will help you or your loved one maintain the important parts of their life that can be so beneficial in managing dementia, such as engaging in interests and social events, recalling favourite memories and experiences, and staying as fit and healthy as possible.
Whether you require full time, live-in care, an overnight carer or someone on hand a few days a week, we can work with you to create the perfect care plan. No matter the stage of dementia, at Eaton Home Care, we have you covered.
Who is dementia care appropriate for?
Our dementia care service is appropriate for all types of dementia, at any stage. Due to our bespoke care plans that are tailored to the individual, we can provide assistance to anyone who is living with dementia.
From your initial diagnosis, we are here to assist you with your needs and help provide peace of mind and comfort to your family and friends.
What are the benefits of receiving dementia care?
Independence
Remaining at home, surrounded by familiar comforts, memories and photographs can help to make this transition easier, and it allows for family and friends to visit without regimented visiting hours. Your carer will adhere to your routine, and can accompany you to social events to help maintain as normal a life as possible.
