Health and Social Care research conducted in 2023 found that over 73% of people could remain, with the correct care provision, in their preferred place (usually their home) until the end. Among the key findings were that people most valued the consistent care provided by those who were knowledgeable and confident in providing support at the end of their life. This is just one of the reasons that our specialist team receives additional ongoing training in conjunction with the Arthur Rank Hospice on palliative and end-of-life care.
