At Eaton Home Care we recognise that each individual case is different, and care needs vary from person to person. That’s why we work closely with you and friends and family, to ensure the right care is provided.
Book a consultation
The first step is to book a free, no obligation consultation with us to discuss the type of care you may need, how often the care is needed and finance options.
We are with you
every step
Helping you understand every stage of the journey with us, from initial enquiry through to your future happiness, independence and safety at home.
This is an important first step to discuss with friends and family. What do you need help with on a day-to-day basis? Are there certain tasks you can no longer manage on your own? How often would you like our carers to visit?
At Eaton we provide so much more than just basic care, in a totally individualised way. We find well-matched carers to ensure you feel safe, comfortable and listened to, and who are in tune with your hobbies and interests.
We will also work with you to help you remain happy, safe and independent in your own home. Furthermore, we respect your home and its memories and will always listen to your needs and wants, and respect your way of doing things.
Your care needs
During your first consultation, we will gain an understanding of your care needs, your budget, and establish if we have the carers available to support you in your area.
We can also discuss the various care options we provide, including 24/7 live-in care, regular visits and dementia care.
We’ll arrange to visit you and your family at home to:
Answer any questions about Eaton Home Care
Conduct a care and medication needs assessment
Identify any safety risks in your home to ensure the health and wellbeing of both you and your carers
Develop a personalised care plan
Introducing your care team
We will match your interests and needs to the best suited care team, and we’ll introduce you to them in the comfort of your own home. Your care team will spend quality time with you and your family to understand you, your personality and your care needs. They will also make sure you feel comfortable with everything before signing the contract.
Getting started
Your first care visit
This is the start of a great relationship between you and your care team! Your care team will start your scheduled visits and you can share with them how you like things done in your home. Here’s a brief overview of how your 1st care visit might look.
Firstly, relax. There’s no need to worry about tidying up or setting out crockery, after all that’s part of our job.
Upon arrival, a member of our client team will introduce you to your care worker, and you can have a chat to introduce yourselves to each other.
Your care worker will log onto their electronic system, which documents their visit and updates your care plan. Your loved ones will also be able to access this information (with your permission) through our family and friends app.
Your care worker will settle in and get to know you a little better, talking through your typical days, likes and dislikes, and finding out out about your hobbies and interests.
Your care worker will attend to your needs based on your agreed care plan, and again this will be updated on the friends and family app
At the end of the visit your care worker will log out of their system, update you on your forthcoming scheduled visits, and once they are confident you are happy they’ll then leave you in peace until the next visit.
