Job Info:

Locations: Cambridge, Ely, Royston and surrounding villages.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12 per hour Monday to Friday.
£13.25 per hour Weekends.
Mileage: 40p per mile
Contract: Guaranteed Hours

If you have retail, hospitality or a customer service background then these skills are easily transferable.

At Eaton Homecare we make a difference every day to people in our community by providing care to our valued clients at home. With a minimum call duration of 30 minutes you will be helping to maintain our client’s independence in a safe, comfortable environment, all whilst providing high quality care.

Training and career progression – We train you at our own accredited training academy at no cost, with the option to also gain/carry on your Health & Social Care qualification!

Mental health first aid – We have an in-house mental health first aider here to provide confidential support whenever you need it.

What is an average day like in this role?

  • Assisting our clients with personal care tasks
  • Overseeing and prompting medication
  • Helping the client to get in and out of bed and move around the home
  • Being a companion for our clients and building relationships
  • Preparing meals and drinks
  • Helping with the client’s daily routine

You will be travelling between client’s homes as part of this role, so we do ask that you have a full driving licence and access to your own reliable vehicle.
