Our story revolves around our family, caring for families just like yours, for over five decades. My mother enjoyed a 25 year nursing career, then my parents opened their first care home in 1989. I have also been fortunate to spend over 10 years in the industry too. All of this experience has been focused into providing a highly personal care programme, maximising your time and enjoyment in your own home.
At Eaton, we provide a tailor-made range of homecare services, all centred around you, your life, and your needs. From companionship services and visiting support, right through to 24 hour live-in support, we will create the ideal care package for you. If you have any questions at all, please speak to one of our team who will be only too happy to help.
Caroline Freeman
Director of Operations
Caroline has been a qualified Nurse since 2001 and has gained a wealth of experience across the NHS and private sectors working in both clinical and managerial roles. Caroline is a detail-orientated person who is highly driven to ensure that we deliver a quality service to our clients which includes ensuing care workers are trained to the highest standard.
In her role as Director of Operations, Caroline oversees the clinical governance and standards of care provided. She works closely with the Registered Manager to ensure that we meet the highest standard of care. Caroline’s role develops and implements operational strategies, taking responsibility for the management, overall quality and efficiency of the business. Caroline supports the team to implement best practice strategies to ensure that the service is consistently developing.

How long have you worked in the care sector?

Why did you choose a career in the care sector?
The ability to impact people’s lives on a daily basis in a positive way.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
Seeing peoples lives improved by receiving care.
How would you describe a typical day in your role?
A typical day would consist of meeting new clients, speaking to our existing clients and their family, supporting staff and continuously looking at ways to improve the service for our clients and carers.
What is your proudest achievement?
Being part of designing models for services to support out of hours that are still running today with great results.
What are your interests outside of work?
My family and the outdoors.
Jackie Manson
Deputy Manager
I have an NHS and Educational background which has stood me in good stead and allows me to share my knowledge and expertise in the Health Care sector. During my career I have worked at Papworth Hospital, a local GP surgery and more latterly as Unit Coordinator -Clinical Services in a local hospital delivering a high quality service to Pathology, Pharmacy and Radiology to ensure positive patient experiences. I worked as a carer when my family was growing up and returned to the Health Care sector some years later.
I hold a number of administrative qualifications including National Examining Board of Supervisory Management Diploma, Adult Health & Social Care NVQ L3 and am currently completing the Level 3 Award in Teaching & Education (formally PTLLS).
During my Health Care journey have carried out the roles of Care Assistant, Field Care Supervisor, Customer Care Manager and have now taken up the role of Deputy Manager with Eaton Home Care who have given me the opportunity to put my knowledge and expertise into good practise.
I am passionate about the following:
I feel very privileged and humbled to have the opportunity of carrying out the role of Deputy Manager and have been made to feel extremely welcome by the whole team.
Outside of work I am a keen musician, I enjoy reading, swimming and walking, all of which keep me very busy.
Jennifer Turley
Head of Learning and Development
Jennifer Turley is our head of learning and development with our sister company, The Stirling Academy. It is here that all of our staff receive all the latest training, making sure they are up to date with all industry standards and requirements. Jennifer has considerable experience in a wide range of roles, from internal positions in multinational organisations to self-employed contract work.

I have worked in care sector for 20 years
Why did you choose a career in the care sector?
I chose a career in care as I enjoy helping people and making a difference to their lives.
What do you most enjoy about your job?
I enjoy being able to make my clients lives easier, and making it possible for them to continue to stay at home with the reassurance they will be getting help where needed.
How would you describe a typical day in your role?
A typical day in my role is getting up at 5.30am to be at my first client for 7am. Assisting with her morning routine including personal care and preparation of breakfast. Administering medication. Then on to my next clients until the last one of the round at 1pm. I prepare her some lunch, do some household chores and leave her sitting comfortable with drinks before I set off for home. Throughout the shift I have lovely chats with my clients and they fill me in with what’s going on in their lives and any worries or issues they have.
What is your proudest achievement?
My proudest achievement is continuing to look after my clients through the pandemic.
What are your interests outside of work?
My interest outside of work are: gardening, nature and art

Fun fact people may not know about me is I love to dance
Lindsay Ball
Marketing Director
Lindsay has been in brand marketing for over 30 years working on some household names like Boots, Dominos, Disney, Healthcare at Home but in the past 10 years she has focused on supporting smaller businesses in growth marketing.
She has also supported a number of healthcare business with digital transformation whilst ensuring the company retains friendly customer service and care principles.
Lindsay is passionate about customer-led marketing and continually invites customer feedback in order to facilitate brand improvements. “It’s an exciting time at Eaton Home Care and we look forward to expanding our first-class homecare service beyond the Cambridgeshire area.”
