Live-in Care

If your requirements are for more than a visiting service, Eaton Home Care can provide 24-hour live-in support in East Anglia, and Hertfordshire.

Eaton live in care

Live-in care is when one of our care professionals stays with you at home and provides the support and companionship you need 24 hours a day. Private Live in care services encompasses a variety of care requirements whether you require a carer or companion on hand day and night or need constant support and care.
A live in care worker allows you to stay at home for longer, helping you to enjoy and improve your day-to-day living. This improves quality of life and often better outcomes for you or your loved one.

Live-in care may be for a brief period (respite) or for long-term care.
We provide a dedicated, tailored and quality care service working with you to provide a suitable live in carer that can stay with you or your loved one as long as you require…
If you or the person you are seeking care for, lives within Cambridgeshire or North Hertfordshire from Royston to Baldock do contact us on Tel: 01223 857235 or Contact Us via our online form  to arrange an initial consultation.

Live-in Care explained…

Live-in care from Eaton Home Care is where one of our professional highly vetted carers lives with you in your own home, rather than just visiting for an agreed duration.
Your carer will also be discreetly absent when you do not need them. Live-in care also provides the peace of mind to families and friends knowing you are safe with your best interests and health at heart.

Live-in care could be for an individual or for a couple, in each case support is tailored to each person with their own care plan to ensure there is someone there when they are needed. Eaton Home Care pride ourselves in exceptional-standard care, designed entirely with our clients’ unique needs in mind. No care plan is the same as another. Each care plan can “flex” or be amended at no additional charge, over time as someone’s health conditions change.

The care plan will depend upon your individual requirements, for many specialist care plans we often match carers who have specialist training in exactly what you need. Key benefits of live in care

  • Help with personal care, getting washed and dressed and ensuring you have any medication.
  • Allowing you to enjoy your daily routine as you would like it, and of course your routine can be changed easily at any time.
  • Support on hand in your own home, with any changes in your needs being seen by the in-house carer and resolved immediately.
  • Continuity with a regular trusted care worker.

  • Ongoing companionship.
  • Day to day activities such as mealtimes being prepared and served how and when you like them.
  • Regular updates on your wellbeing to anyone you choose such as family and friends. Arranging appointments and telephone calls.
  • Support in creating or ordering you shopping list.
  • Help with those regular daily tasks, including keeping the house tidy, keeping on top of the washing and laundry, putting the bins out or even taking your dog for a walk.

Eaton Home Care will match you to a live-in carer extremely carefully. This is important as they will quite literally be living with you, so remember that they will need their own room. We can help you plan how to change a use of a room so that you can strike the balance between privacy and care round the clock when it is required.

In an everyday sense, a custom live-in care package could positively change your life, or that of someone you love and are currently worrying about

Why? Because you will be able to continue enjoying your daily activities and live your life with dignity and privacy – yet with qualified, professional help and support. Personal attention from a dedicated carer will offer something extra, rather than taking anything away.

Live in care supports a range of conditions from the need for constant companionship due to a mental health condition to Palliative care; please click here for more information about who live in care is for, how it works and what it will look like from box below:

Next steps….

Setting up live-in care for yourself or a loved one is a straightforward process:
  • Contact us, and we will arrange an at-home consultation. Ask as many questions as you like, and we will explain how it could work for you “in real life.” Every client is different, with unique needs so of course all our plans are highly personalised.
  • With your agreement, we will devise a custom care plan to meet completely your needs. Our Nurse Led management staff are highly experienced, and we will take care of everything.

Your carer will be selected with significant attention to detail; this process could not be more critical. And yes – you can even chat or have a video call with this person to see how you both get along. . All our carers are employed by Eaton Home Care which means as a managed service, all our standards, in particular our recruitment, training and background checks are regulated and independently checked unlike an agency that provides self-employed carers.

All care provided by Eaton Home Care will also be logged and maintained via a secure encrypted central electronic system. Here, we register details, care plans, daily notes, medication, medical treatment, and any interventions that may be necessary. With consent, this information is made available to families or next of kins via a simple app.
